While kayaking, I saw a small blue heron that captured my heart. In turn, I captured his grace and beauty with my camera lens. That day I knew I had been visited by a Muse of nature, that mysterious spirit which calls us to create.
Since then I have been on a personal journey with my camera that has been dynamic, challenging, unpredictable and often exhilarating.
Sharing my photographs is often sharing myself—those unique images that I have captured in private moments of solitary meditative observation. As I strive to capture the overlooked, the commonplace becomes the unusual, allowing the viewer an opportunity for subjective interpretation and contemplation.
